Fairhurst held a dress down and pie face challenge day on Friday 4th March in aid of the UK Sepsis Trust.
The Trust is currently raising funds to promote national awareness of the disease to everyone including the government and the medical profession. Even though Sepsis kills more people every year than both breast and bowel cancer combined (10,000 of which are children), very few people of aware of it. If spotted a simple course of antibiotics can cure all.
A brilliant £640 was raised in total, a big thanks to all the staff who took part.
