Brand Launch

The start of 2013 sees a new beginning for Fairhurst as the business proudly unveils a refreshed brand identity.

The new brand provides a platform for a new chapter as the firm looks to further strengthen its association within Wigan and throughout the northwest business community.

The brand now captures the ethos of Fairhurst’s approach to accountancy services that puts supporting their clients business at the heart of everything they do. Partner John Fairhurst explains the thinking behind their new strapline ‘Accounting for Your Potential.’

“We believe accountants should use their experience and expertise, not just to balance the books and file tax returns but to guide and support businesses no matter what their size. Accountancy is a given, enabling our clients to achieve their goals always has been, and always will be our priority.”

The refreshed brand identity was produced with assistance from marketing communications agency Fogg Associates, a client of Fairhurst who over recent times have developed an in-depth working knowledge of the business and a strong relationship with the Fairhurst partners and managers.“It was a real honour for us to work with Fairhurst, having admired their success over many years.” says Chris Fogg. “Their name has been synonymous with business in Wigan for a long period of time and to be a part of their future is a great privilege for us.”

When Fairhurst approached Fogg to undertake a refresh of the brand and identity, work was undertaken to build upon existing elements of the brand which has established itself over three generations.

A fresh new colour palette, corporate literature and website design has been developed. The brand design enables clarity of communication and easy navigation of the numerous business functions.

“The refreshed identity marks an important step forward for our business,” concludes John. “It is a clear marker that we are looking to the future and intend furthering our commitment to supporting local business prosperity.”
